At Funera, we provide cremation services at the Eastern Suburbs crematorium in Botany (Matraville). As well as is trying to understand what needs to be done or taken care of.Our funeral directors provide a quality service with all due care to you, your family and other loved ones, at an affordable cost in Botany and surrounding areas. We can look after all the funeral needs, arrangements, and paperwork for your deceased, which we have organised into a list for your convenience in our three cremation packages.

A Close and Creative Ceremony

Many people choose to create a ceremony of remembrance of the memories, love and life of their loved one when they scatter the ashes. Your loved one may have held a place of significance in their heart that would make a suitable location to commit their ashes to. Ocean seas, rivers, parks and memorial gardens can also make beautiful places to lay the ashes of your loved one to rest. In public areas, you may need to get the permission of the council before you do this. We would be happy to assist you with any questions that you may have or recommend locations where you can hold your own ceremony.

Witnessing the Cremation

We have found in many funeral services, that families often find some comfort and closure in witnessing the coffin as it is inserted into the cremator. It can be hard to say goodbye, although it is inevitable. Witnessing the insertion can be an opportunity for healing by extending the time you have with the remains of your loved one. We know that losing a loved one is never easy, but at Funera we want to help lessen the burden. If you require any help or assistance, our funeral directors and staff are helpful and are always patient and understanding.
